Hawaiian Monk Seals are common on the beaches of Kauai, but this is the first time in many visits to Poipu Beach that we have seen a Hawaiian sea turtle. He (she?) was resting on the beach when we got there, and he lumbered slowly into the lovely waters after a bit. Quite the rare site.
